Gianluca Regazzo, a student of Fashion Design from the University of Venice IUAV, conceives fashion through the original development of “capi-opere” (clothing as an artwork).
A vision in which the designer gives everything of himself. He develops artistic experiments of various types such as from music: he composes to surround himself with an imaginary stage, and in that scenario he conceives the garment.
The processing of plant leather is essential in his world, and the intercommunication between textured leather and body skin is essential in your garments. The research and experimentation work that Regazzo carries out does not stop at leather, but always looks for new methods to include novel materials such as fibers, knitting and glass applied to leather.
The search for “detail”, a fundamental element that arises from the observation of the peculiarities the city transmits to him. A detail of a palace, a fresco, the whisper of the water, the daily noise and the silence of the night …
