GAS Jeans
Gas based in Vicenza embraces the ecological topic in the heart of the Venetian kermersse, Gas brings to the Venice Fashion Week the eco-friendly project that it’s already debuted in Pitti last June: ETX – Keep it green.
The theme of sustainability is the basis of a new generation look in which the industrial heritage, ethics and aesthetics are in perfect balance. With the aim of safeguarding the planet and people, in synergy with carefully selected suppliers that comply with the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification, GAS has studied every step of the ETX – Keep it green chain in an ecological perspective in technological innovation .
The five-pocket jeans and the jean fabric jackets are the most emblematic models that have made history in the brand, as well as the shirts and sweatshirts with a strong connotation of contemporary fashion and are aimed at the most evolved, aware and sensitive to the environmental problems.
Within the business – the mannequins that instead of the head “use” leaves and branches of trees – highlight the new “green mentality” of the brand and the central role of man in reducing his own impact on the planet.
“GAS has undertaken a path of great attention to sustainability for some time. ETX – Keep it green is not an impromptu project, but a step forward on a path that looks to the future with a strong focus on sustainability and that will gradually lead us to a new approach to our fashion manufacturing and business industry“, This is stated by Barbara Grotto, Head of Marketing and Communications.
Starting at 6:00 p.m., the night will be animated with a DJ set, a live painting by a young designer and the exclusive cocktails of Nardini, the oldest distillery in Italy.
