Venice Fashion Week. From 22nd to 31st October 2020, in Venice, fashion is culture and discovery, live and online
The spotlight will be soon on the tenth edition of the Venice Fashion Week: events, exhibitions, fashion shows, and crafts, live and online.
The presentations will be held in artisan ateliers and in the secret rooms of the excellent Venetian hôtellerie, respecting all the social-distance safety measures.
After the DPCM of 24 October, some events go digital: watch them online.
From 23 to 25 October the ateliers are open
Emerging designers and artisans are the protagonists of the three day-event dedicated to the artisan workshops in Venice. People can enter the world of creativity at work: artists, goldsmiths, impiraresse, decorators, printers, artists on paper, florists, graphic designers, and craftsmen; the life force of Venice. Among this year’s novelties we recommend the Atelier Aperti itineraries, to discover laboratories and mastery.

In the Secret Rooms: five designers, craftsmanship and sustainable fashion
As in the days of the Serenissima Republic, Venetian hotels will become hubs for future innovations: Hotel Danieli, Corte di Gabriela, Palazzo Venart and The St. Regis Venice will present five designers who connect traditional craftsmanship with innovation for sustainability.
The unique time we are currently experiencing pushes us to create new ways of communicating: during the Venice fashion shows the roles are inverted and so it will be the public, respecting all safety regulations, to move around the spaces.

In the splendid Royal Suite of the Hotel Danieli the Martina Vidal brand fashion show will take place. At its fourth generation the Venetian company safeguards the artisan heritage of Burano lace by bringing it into the future by creating contemporary designs. The new collection of kimonos, embroidered bags, beach towels and furlane in a thousand colors, testifies Norma’s commitment towards sustainable fashion through creative craftsmanship.
