Romi Loch Davis
“Clothes can be armor to defend and hide, an attempt to neutralize what is revealed about oneself, a tacit sign language that says what is difficult to say…”
“Some women dress with little in their hands and are infinitely memorable… poetic… an embodiment of harmony… simply translates their being.”
These are the words of Romi Loch Davis to explain her vision of fashion.
Her creations, an example of High Craftsmanship, are made with Spanish brocades, Indian saris, lace and French velvets, chosen by the most prestigious producers that combine traditional crafts with modern techniques.
South Africa, Paris and Venice, the designer’s life has always been marked by a mixture of very different cultural influences and this is precisely the charm of her creations: they are extremely international.
